Program Description:
Explore the world of foreign affairs and global problem solving by joining the UNC Diplomacy Initiative's Washington Week! During this experience over spring break in Washington, D.C., network with and learn from global problem solvers working in global and policy organizations across sectors. Dates for Washington Week are March 16-19, 2026

The program fee for Washington Week is $200 per student. This covers lodging, ground transportation while in D.C., activities and some meals. Transportation to and from D.C. and some meals are the responsibility of the student participant. 

A limited number of program fee waivers are available based on demonstrated financial need.

The program fee is not refundable. Participants are liable for the full unsubsidized cost of the program if they withdraw from the program after Jan. 15, 2026.
