Exchange Program with King's College London (Summer School)

Students from your university may apply to this Direct Exchange program with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Courses & Credits

The exchange agreement between your home university and UNC permits the exchange of undergraduate students. You would be permitted to take courses numbered 100-699. The Study Abroad Office reviews the applications and makes the final decision on acceptance.

Your university's exchange agreement is specifically with UNC's College of Arts and Sciences, which means that you are only permitted to take courses offered by departments within the College of Arts and Sciences - see our website for a complete list of departments.

PLEASE NOTE that the exchange agreement DOES NOT extend to UNC's professional schools, which include the Kenan-Flagler Business School, the School of Journalism and Mass Communication, the School of Education, the School of Information and Library Sciences, the School of Public Health, the School of Social Work, the School of Government, the School of Pharmacy, the School of Nursing, the School of Medicine, the School of Dentistry, and the Law School. On rare occasions, the School of Journalism and Kenan-Flagler Business School will permit exchange students to take a single course, but the Study Abroad Office cannot guarantee it. If you are a journalism or business major at your home school and need courses in these disciplines in order to graduate, UNC will not be a good fit for you, because, at best you will only be able to take a single course in your field of study.
